Pediatric Services at Inova Loudoun Hospital
Inova Loudoun Hospital is kid-friendly. We care for our smallest patients in our Level IIIA neonatal intensive care unit (NICU), our dedicated pediatric emergency department and our pediatric inpatient unit. Our experienced pediatric staff is specially trained to understand the unique needs of your infant and child. We use smaller equipment for smaller bodies. Inova Loudoun Hospital offers your child and family:
- A dedicated pediatric emergency room, open 24 hours a day, seven days a week and staffed by pediatric hospitalists
- Experienced, caring pediatricians, including staff certified in pediatric care who understand the unique needs of children
- Emergency nurses who are pediatric advanced life support certified and pediatric emergency nursing that are pediatric certified

A family-centered approach to care
The 6th floor of the North Tower at Inova Loudoun Hospital is home to our expanded pediatrics unit, designed to enhance our family-centered approach to care.
This state-of-the-art unit features 12 private rooms equipped with iPads outside each room, patient-tracking technology, secure tele-visit services, concealed overhead lifts, and in-room entertainment systems.
Patients and families can also enjoy a bright, modern playroom featuring interactive digital play concepts, games, toys, a large-screen TV, and an entire wall of windows offering scenic views of the county and abundant natural light.
