Cardiac Tumor

Cardiac Tumor

A cardiac tumor is a growth that develops in or on the heart. Cardiac tumors are often not cancerous. If the tumor is causing a decrease in heart function, it can be surgically removed.

In cases when the cardiac tumor is cancerous, we work with Inova Children's Cancer Program for the most appropriate treatment plan.
