Inova's outpatient cardiology program expands our reach and makes it easier for patients to receive the care they need close to home. Our board-certified pediatric cardiologists treat thousands of infants, children and young adults with heart conditions every year. Our outpatient offices allow patients to have clinical visits, EKG testing, echocardiograms and Holter monitoring. Inova’s outpatient cardiology program is regionalized, so our pediatric cardiologists get to know their patients, and their patients’ families, in a very close and meaningful 1:1 relationship.

• Our cardiologists practice in ambulatory outpatient settings throughout Maryland and Virginia, and our team consults on the care for infants in nurseries and neonatal intensive care units across the region.


• Expanded telemedicine capabilities improve access for patients who live in remote areas. Cardiologists can review clinical information, such as electrocardiograms, echocardiograms and rhythm monitors remotely, enabling them to develop a care plan without needing families to travel long distances.


• Our electrophysiology program offers convenient home-based monitoring of patients with pacemakers, minimizing the need to travel and miss work and school days.


• Many of our clinics offer exercise stress tests, as well as Holter monitoring and implantable loop recorders for evaluation of arrhythmias.
